RACER FORGE MKII HEATED GLOVES 7V WITH BATTERIES

We are perfectionists when it comes to our motorcycle gear. It has to perform, protect, look the part and have the right price. Given the opportunity to design our own glove with Racer, we jumped at the occasion and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Picking up where the hugely popular Forge Urban heated glove left off, the Forge MKII is the direct result of sitting down with our friends at Racer to take this concept to the next level. Much like its predecessor, the Forge MKII escapes the trappings of the unwieldy heated glove market, boasting a further enhanced spec but crucially keeping overall feel user friendly. The aim was to keep riding through the coldest days without losing feel for the bike’s controls. We also chose to make the cuff considerably wider than the one on its predecessor, allowing the sleeves of your winter jacket to comfortably fit inside the cuff.

This glove is constructed using abrasion-resistant Goat leather for the outer and palm sections with its sleek silhouette broken up only by the ribbed stitch knuckle region. This retro focal point of the design cleverly conceals an ergonomic Ergoflex knuckle armour insert, in place to offer the rider excellent impact protection.

Activated by a button on the cuff, this model features Racer’s thermo-regulated heating element which runs across the back of the hand all the way across the fingers to your fingertips. 3 heat intensity levels are available, all indicated by the trio of red lights on the control panel with an additional boost mode on tap when you need to crank it to 11. Dual batteries are stored in the cuff and can be monitored with individual status lights, this approach doubles the battery life compared to previous single battery models keeping your hands toasty for hours. The Forge MKII comes with one pair of batteries included, the second pair is an optional extra.

Combine this clever heating element with Fiberfill insulation and a waterproof and breathable Polymax membrane, and you have a glove no rider would regret investing in.
