You might have noticed there's no abundance of leather riding trousers in our range. That's because, quite simply, there's not many options out there that meet our criteria of protection, comfort and style. Then the big bad wolf came along and blew us away.
El Solitario's Rascal leather motorcycle trousers are something special. They are hand-crafted by Spanish craftsmen in a tiny family atelier in the Galician forest. Watch the impressive video below for an idea of how intricate the manufacturing process is. The Rascal is constructed out of a 1.4 mm thick top grain Nappa leather, carefully tanned in Italy. This extremely sturdy and durable leather is known for it's supple nature. The reverse side of the leather is used for a suede-like, luxurious look and feel while the hips are accentuated by the smooth leather outer and the quilted detailing with extra padding.
The knees have pockets for armour with a YKK zipper on the outside; this might be one of our favourite features since it allows the armour to easily be removed or inserted without taking the trousers off, making things a whole lot more comfortable when you get off the bike. Talking about comfort: when the first batch of Rascal trousers arrived at the Urban Rider headquarters, we were of course very eager to try them on for sizing and fit. We can honestly say these are some of the most comfortable motorcycle trousers we have tried on, ever. The cotton plaid liner hugs your body and the cut is ideal for spending hours and hours on the bike, these trousers are made for eating miles. There's a leather belt with buckle to adjust the fit at the waist, but we strongly recommend using the absolutely lush leather braces included with the trousers. These attach to the YKK buttons on the trousers and are without a doubt the most comfortable way to wear a protective trouser on a bike, whatever the riding position is.
The El Solitario gang managed to create a truly stunning and functional piece of motorcycle equipment with the Rascal trousers. A timeless design up to today's protective standards.

Christmas Delivery
With disruption to postal services, we are sending all orders via next day courier to ensure arrival in time for Christmas day. Choose from FedEx, DPD and DHL at checkout.
